to make your information and email address available to other registered alumni, and while
it is understood that registrants may contact former classmates and
alumni, registrants are not to use such information to generate
unsolicited mail (spam) or for any other unethical purposes.
SheridanNews.Net will not be
responsible for such misuse or abuse, and will deny further
access to the database by any users who do so.
Registrants are not allowed to display profanity or foul
language in their online profile. SheridanNews.net will exercise
the right to delete profiles or ban usage by any persons who do
not cooperate with our user policies.
SheridanNews.Net recommends that whenever persons display
their email address on this or other web sites, they should obtain
and display a 'disposable' type email address, such as is
available through free venders like hotmail.com or yahoo.com.
In the event that your address begins receiving spam or
undesired email messages, you can easily change your address to
another. Alumni registrants can edit or change their online profile at any time,
including email address or other data, by using their personal
username and password.
With regard to privacy, we do not sell, rent or distribute your information to third-parties. All information is
kept within the SheridanNews.Net Alumni Network, which is
accessible only to other alumni registrants, along with members
of the Sheridan Alumni Association, who may use your contact
information to let you know about alumni related details.
SheridanNews.Net does not send spam or junk mail of any kind, but may
occasionally contact registered alumni about Sheridan related
announcements.
